40 year old Yavette Simone Costict, of Longview, was riding this Suzuki motorcycle when she lost control and crashed on 59 North at FM-1988.
Driver Crashes Motorcycle, GOODRICH, June 23, 2018 - At approximately 2:10 pm on June 23, 2018, a Suzuki motorcycle, driven by Yavette Simone Costict, 40, of Longview, was north-bound on US-59 in Goodrich.  According to Costict, a vehicle pulled in front of her.  In order to avoid a collision, Costict braked and lost control.  She fell off of her bike and flipped several times.  Costict was wearing proper clothing and proper helmet.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Troopers John Allen, Nick Hatton and Ashlee White with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Costict was transported by ambulance Conroe Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  She was cited for improper license for a motorcycle.  Her bike was recovered by a friend.
