Driver Rolls Vehicle on FM-3277,Flown to Houston, SCENIC LOOP, June 20, 2011 - At approximately midnight on June 20, 2011, a white Chevy Silverado Z71 driven by David Barker, 34, of Livingston, was west-bound on FM-3277 when his truck left the road to the right. Tire marks in the grass suggest that Barker rolled around 50 yards before colliding with the end of a guard rail. Barker's vehicle continued right and rolled multiple times in the grass ejecting Barker in the process. The truck came to rest upright facing south. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, Deputy Lee Rogers with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Joe Cole with the Texas Highway Patrol. Emergency personnel treated Barker at the scene and loaded him onto an ambulance. Barker was transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital with incapacitating injuries. A PHi Air Medical Helicopter landed at Livingston Memorial and transported Barker to Hermann Hospital in Houston. Traffic on 3277 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. According to Trooper Cole, no citations have yet been issued as the accident remains under investigation. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Barker's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. The scene was cleared by 1:35 am.

....and rolled multiple times coming to rest upright in the grass on the side of FM-3277. David Barker was ejected in the process.
David Barker was treated by emergency personnel and loaded onto an ambulance. Barker was transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital where a PHi helicopter flew him to Houston.
