Driver Slams Into Postal Vehicle,  EAST TEMPE, June 18, 2023 - At approximately 3:35 pm on June 18, 2023, a white 2018 Ford Explorer, driven by Ester Marie McDonald, 47, of Livingston (a postal deliverer that was on the job), was north-bound on FM-350 South. McDonald slowed down to make a left turn onto Mangum road when she was slammed from behind by a red 2012 Kia Sportage driven by Falon Shea Adamex, 25, of Conroe. McDonald's vehicle came to rest on the soft shoulder while Adamex's vehicle came to rest partially on the pavement. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Sean Barnes with the Texas Highway Patrol. McDonald was physically okay. Adamex was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Adamex is likely facing a citation for the crash. Adamex's vehicle was recovered by Kwik Tow while McDonald's vehicle was recovered by Dan's Towing (both will be stored in Livingston). This accident remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol.
