68 year old Glen Clark of Goodrich lost control of his 2000 Yamaha motor scooter on FM-350 North.
Motor Scooter Accident Hospitalizes 1, LIVINGSTON, June 16, 2012 - At approximately 12:40 pm on June 16, 2012, witnesses reported a motor scooter accident off FM-350 North near Horace Bonds Road. The motor scooter was a black 2000 Yamaha driven by Glen Clark, 68, of Goodrich. Clark was allegedly north-bound on 350 North when he went into a curve and lost control, leaving the pavement to the right and rolling his motor scooter. Clark was ejected. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Troopers Chad Seamans, Sergeant Nita Bowen, and Darwon Evans. Clark appeared to have sustained head injuries and was treated at the scene, then transported by ambulance to Livingston Memorial Hospital with possible head and back injuries (Clark was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident). Traffic was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. According to accident investigator, Trooper Chad Seamans, Clark will be cited for unsafe speed, expired registration, and improper driver's license (Clark had a regular driver's license and not a motor scooter driver's license). A rollback wrecker from Harwood Wrecker Service arrived and recovered the motor scooter and took it to Goodrich (where Clark resides). The scene was cleared by 2 pm.
