Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, representatives from TXDOT, and Officers with the Livingston Police Department including Ashley Early, Chad Lilley, Kevin Blackburn, Sergeant Lewis Milner, and Melissa Blackburn. Atwal was checked by EMS personnel but was physically okay. Traffic was partially blocked and at times, completely blocked during cleanup. Atwal was hauling vinyl siding in his trailer. A heavy-duty recovery crew was dispatched from Riley Wrecker Service out of Corrigan to clean up the mess. According to Officer Ashley Early, Atwal was cited for unsafe speed. At time of press (5:45 pm) the cleanup was still ongoing.
Officer Ashley Early with the Livingston Police Department is the investigating Officer.
