Driver Rolls Vehicle, Hospitalized, LIVINGSTON, June 14, 2018 - At approximately, 12:55 am on June 14, 2018, a silver 2006 Toyota Avalon, driven by Debora Metcalf, 62, of Lufkin, was north-bound on US-59 (just south of the Livingston City Limits).  For some reason, Metcalf was possibly distracted when she lost control of her vehicle, left the pavement to the right and rolled.  Metcalf's vehicle came to rest upright in the grass.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputies William Land and Tony Guy with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Donny Akers with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Metcalf was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.  Traffic on 59 was not blocked during investigation and cleanup.  No citations have been issued at this time.  Metcalf's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
