Driver Rolls Vehicle, BLANCHARD, June 13, 2025 - At approximately 5:25 am on June 13, 2025, the driver of a white 2017 Dodge Durango was east-bound on FM-3126 (west of Lake Livingston Village). According to the driver, she swerved to avoid hitting a deer, left the pavement to the left, jumped a culvert and cart wheeled her vehicle as it came to rest on the driver's side. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Troopers Riley Cooper, Terrence Dickens, and Johnny Wilkerson. Fortunately, the female driver was not injured. Traffic was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. Her vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored in Livingston.
