Driver Rolls Pickup End-Over-End, Walks Away, LIVINGSTON, June 9, 2017 - At approximately 12:15 am on June 9, 2017, a gray 2012 Chevy Silverado, driven by Ostmaro Aristondo, 34, of Livingston, was south-bound on US-146 (near Escapees RV Club). According to Aristondo, he fell asleep at the wheel. His pickup left the pavement to the right and rolled end-over-end and came to rest upside down facing the pavement. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputy Jason Burleson with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Corporal Ramey Bass with the Texas Highway Patrol. Aristondo insisted that he was okay and refused medical treatment (although he appeared to be in pain). Traffic on 146 was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. Aristondo was cited for no driver's license. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Aristondo's vehicle and it will be stored at Pollock's Body Shop in Livingston.
