Two adults and two small children were hospitalized.
Accident Hospitalizes 4, BLANCHARD, June 9, 2015 - At approximately 1:30 pm on June 9, 2015,  a Silver 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe, driven by Carol Bardwell, 73, of Livingston, was sitting at the crossover at the Corner Shell (FM-2457 at 190 West).  Bardwell attempted to cross over to FM-2457 from 190 West, but she failed to yield to a red 2007 Toyota Corolla driven by Demonya Livingston, 20, of Livingston.  Livingston was east-bound on 190 when Bardwell pulled in front of her.  The two vehicles collided.  Livingston's vehicle impacted the passenger's side of Bardwell's vehicle.  Livingston's vehicle came to rest on the pavement of 190 while Bardwell's vehicle came to rest on the shoulder of the east-bound side of 190.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Troopers Donny Akers, Chad Seamans, and Darwon Evans (all with the Texas Highway Patrol).  Demonya Livingston and her passengers (another adult and two small children) were transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.  Carol Bardwell was physically okay.  Traffic on the east-bound side of 190 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup.  Bardwell was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from an open intersection.  Livingston was cited for unrestrained child (small child not properly buckled in).  A rollback wrecker LakeView Wrecker recovered Bardwell's vehicle and it will be stored at Fawbush Body Shop in Goodrich.  Livingston's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
