Driver Hospitalized After Rear Ending Vehicle, LIVINGSTON, June 9, 2011 - At approximately 1:30 pm on June 9, 2011, Thomas V. Davis, 83, of Livingston was north-bound of FM-350 South. Davis had to come to a stop when a large truck in front of him made a sudden turn without warning. While Davis was at a stop, his 2003 Toyota 4Runner was rear-ended by a dark blue 2008 Buick LaCrosse driven by Deborah Davee, 63, of Livingston. The collision caused moderate damage Davis' vehicle while Deborah Davee's vehicle may have been totaled. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Sergeant Jason Paske with the Sheriff's Office and DPS Troopers David Flowers and David Morris. Deborah Davee was treated at the scene and transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Thomas Davis was physically okay. According to Trooper Flowers, Davee was issued a citation for failure to control speed. Both parties had insurance. A rollback wrecker from Harwood Wrecker Service recovered Davee's vehicle and it will be stored at Bounds Autoplex in Livingston. Thomas Davis' vehicle was drivable. The scene was cleared by 2:30 pm.

Thomas Davis' 2003 Toyota 4Runner sustained moderate damage.
Sergeant Jason Paske with the Sheriff's Office helped control traffic on FM-350 South.
Big Jim Harwood recovered Deborah Davee's vehicle.
