Driver Crashes Into Storage Building, LIVINGSTON, June 8, 2019 - Shortly before 7 pm on June 8, 2019, a green 2003 Chevy Avalanche, driven by 67 year old Ralph Westcott, of Livingston, was west-bound on West Church Street. According to Westcott, he pressed the gas (and meant to press the brake) and sped up, left the pavement to the right, and slammed into a storage building next Billy's Donuts (the storage building is also owned by Billy's Donuts). The impact warped the building and probably totaled the truck. Officer Jacob Edwards with Livingston Police Department was dispatched to the scene and was joined by Officer Chad Lilley, and Sergeant Dallas Early. Westcott was not injured. His pickup was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. No citations were issued in this accident.
