Vehicle Slammed From Behind, Turned Over, 3 Hospitalized, GOODRICH, June 8, 2018 - At approximately 9:15 am on June 8, 2018, a white 2003 Chevy 2500 (company truck), driven by Dolen Wright, 39, of Goodrich, was west-bound on FM-2665. Wright slowed down in the 877 block of 2665 to make a right turn into a private driveway. Wright was slammed from behind by a red 2014 Jeep Cherokee, driven by Dottie Dees, 68, of Goodrich. The impact turned over Wright's vehicle in a ditch on his right. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Goodrich Volunteer Fire Department, Deputy Victor White with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Troopers Nick Hatton and Allen Stanton with the Texas Highway Patrol. Wright and his passenger, and Dees were all transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Traffic on 2665 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. Dees was cited for failure to control speed. Dees' vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. Wright's vehicle was recovered LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.
