5 Hospitalized from Car Accident, Intoxication Suspected, BLANCHARD, June 1, 2016 - At approximately 9:20 pm on May 31, 2016, a white, 2007 Chevy 2500 pickup, driven by Rose Rocha Gonzalez, 52, of Houston, was north-bound on FM-3126. Gonzalez's pickup broad sided a tan 2014 Chrysler 200 driven by Hogan Colt Kahle, 31, of Livingston. Kahle was south-bound on 3126 and allegedly entered a curve too fast (Next to Lake Livingston Village Park). His vehicle left the pavement to the right, he over corrected to the left, went into a sideways slide and slid into the north-bound lane of 3126 where he was broad sided by Gonzalez. Kahle's vehicle came to rest in the grass next to Lake Livingston Village Park. Gonzalez's vehicle came to rest at the edge of the pavement on the north-bound side. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, Sergeant Craig Taylor and Corporal Javier Segura with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Darwon Evans with the Texas Highway Patrol. Kahle was transported by ambulance to Conroe Regional Hospital. Gonzalez and her three passengers were transported by ambulance to Kingwood Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Medical helicopter transport was called for but due to unfavorable weather, could not fly. All traffic on 3126 was blocked during investigation and cleanup. Kahle's speech was slurred and there's a warrant for his arrest for possession of a controlled substance. Pending toxicology reports on Kahle, he could be facing four counts of intoxication assault. Kahle's vehicle was recovered by a rollback wrecker from Fawbush Wrecker Service and will be stored in Goodrich. Gonzalez's vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.
