Valero Employee Ran Over By Pickup, LIVINGSTON, May 28, 2018 - At approximately 2:40 pm on May 28, 2018, an employee with Valero located off US-190 East (in Livingston City Limits), sustained a serious leg injury when her leg was run over by a pickup while doing a routine gasoline level check. Courtney Hollister, 26, of Livingston was outside using a long measuring stick to check the level of gasoline in the station storage tanks. In order for Hollister to do the job, Hollister had to get low to the ground and was in a laying down position to extend her arm down the inlet to retrieve the gauge. While she was on the ground, another vehicle was next to her which obstructed the view of a second vehicle (White Ford F-150 pickup, driven by Paul Martin, III, 62, of Richmond ). The pickup drove around that vehicle and never saw Hollister and accidentally ran over her leg. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Officers Adam Williford, Scott Paske, Kaleb Barker, and Sergeant Ronnie Bogany with Livingston Police Department. Hollister's left leg appeared to be seriously injured. She was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital. No citations were issued.
