52 year old Thomas Charles Sullivan, of Shelbyville, escaped injury after his 2011 Toyota 4Runner rolled off US-59.
2 Vehicles Crash, 3rd Vehicle Gets Away, 1 Person Hospitalized, GOODRICH, May 22, 2017 - At approximately 2:40 pm on May 21, 2017, a black older model Ford Mustang, driven by Jesus Arroyo Damian, 28, of Livingston was north-bound on US-59 in Goodrich. According to Damian, a white pickup clipped his vehicle and caused him to lose control. Damian's vehicle struck a maroon 2011 Toyota 4Runner driven by Thomas Charles Sullivan 28, of Shelbyville. Both vehicles left the pavement to the right. Damian's vehicle slid into the grass while Sullivan's vehicle rolled and came to rest upright. The white pickup kept going and never stopped to check on the wreck that it just caused. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Polk County Sheriff's Deputies and Troopers Sean Chandler, Zach Lenderman, and Donny Akers with the Texas Highway Patrol. Sullivan was physically okay, but his female passenger wasn't. She was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Traffic was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. Damian was cited for no driver's license. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Sullivan's vehicle and it will be stored at Pollock's Body Shop in Livingston. Damian's vehicle was driven from the scene. This accident remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol.
Trooper Sean Chandler is the accident investigator.
Damian was cited for no driver's license.
Damien's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing.
