Driver Slams Into Tree, CAMP RUBY, May 11, 2025 - At approximately 9:12 am on May 11, 2025, the driver of a black 2015 Nissan Versa was north-bound on FM-1276 (about 2 miles off 190 East) when the driver left the pavement to the right and slammed into a tree, spun around, and turned over. The driver of the vehicle, Haylee Chyann Larive, 22, of Livingston, was entrapped. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Alabama Coushatta Volunteer Fire Department Heavy Rescue Unit, Deputy Perk Ostrawich with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Troopers Simon Mijares and Johnny Wilkerson with The Texas Highway Patrol. Larive was safely removed from her vehicle and transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Traffic on 1276 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. Larive is likely facing a citation for unsafe speed. Her vehicle was recovered by Fawbush Wrecker Service out of Goodrich.
