Timothy Finklea's GMC Yukon was totaled when an 18 wheeler ran a red light causing a collision.
18 Wheeler Fails to Yield, Totals Vehicle, LIVINGSTON, May 10, 2013 - At approximately 3:04  pm on May 10, 2013, an older model blue GMC Yukon driven by Timothy Lee Finklea, 33, of Livingston, was crossing over 190 West from Miller Street.  When Finklea entered the east-bound side of 190 (at 350 South), he slammed into a Peterbilt 18 wheeler driven by William Earl Jones, Jr., 40, of Tylertown, Mississippi.  The collision spun Finklea's vehicle around and managed to tear up the backside of Finklea's vehicle.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Officers Lenneth Gardner, Kaleb Barker, and Brandon Brewer (all with Livingston Police Department).  Fortunately, nobody was injured.  Traffic on 190 East was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup.  According to investigating officer, Lenneth Gardner, William Jones was cited for running a red light.  Finklea's vehicle was recovered by Harwood Wrecker Service and will be stored in Livingston.

William Jones' 18 wheeler had no visible damage.
Officer Lenneth Gardner with Livingston Police Department is the investigating officer.
When Finklea's vehicle spun around from the collision, the 18 wheeler also caught the backside causing major damage.
Officer Gardner cited Jones for running a red light.
