Blown Tire, Livingston Youngster Rolls Pickup, Ejected During Rollover, NORTH POLK COUNTY, May 8, 2018 - At approximately 1:30 pm on May 8, 2018, a red 1997 Ford F-150, driven by Amanda Lee, 18, of Livingston, was south-bound on US-59 near Goat Hill Road. Lee's rear driver's side tire had a blow out and caused her to lose control. Her pickup left the pavement to the right and rolled, coming to rest upright. During the rollover, Lee was ejected. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Corrigan Volunteer Fire Department and Trooper Colton McQuilkin with the Texas Highway Patrol. Lee was transported by ambulance to CHI Lufkin Memorial Hospital with possible serious injuries. Lee had two passengers, adult female (minor injuries) and her infant son (no injuries, properly restrained in a baby car seat). Traffic was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. Lee was cited for no seatbelt and driving with and invalid license. A rollback wrecker from Riley Wrecker Service out of Corrigan recovered Lee's vehicle.
