Dodge Challenger Takes Out Utility Pole, BLANCHARD, May 5, 2022 - At approximately 1:30 pm on May 5, 2022, a silver 2016 Dodge Challenger, driven by Jared Bradley Pierce, of Livingston, was west-bound on FM-3126 (just west of Tigerville Park). Pierce apparently entered a curve too fast and lost control. His vehicle left the pavement to the left and slid backwards into a utility pole, snapping the pole in half. Deputies Keegan Newman and Missy Murray were dispatched to the scene along with Troopers Cotye Lowrie and Johnny Wilkerson with the Texas Highway Patrol. SHECO dispatched a utility crew to ensure that the lines were turned off. Amazingly, Pierce wasn't injured in the accident. Pierce was cited for unsafe speed. His vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker out of Livingston.
