32 year old Ashley Davidson, of Lufkin, was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital.
2 Vehicle Collision Hospitalizes 1, GOODRICH, May 4, 2019 - At approximately 3:25 pm on May 4, 2019, a silver 2011 Kia Sorrento, driven by Ashley Davidson, 32, of Goodrich, was west-bound on FM-1988. As Davidson was passing Gettysburg (entrance to Shiloh Ridge Subdivision), an east-bound red 2017 Buick Envision, driven by Cecil McNeil, 83, of Livingston attempted a left turn onto Gettysburg and failed to yield to Davidson. The vehicles collided. Davidson's vehicle left the pavement to the right and McNeil's vehicle came to rest in the middle of 1988. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Troopers Nick Hatton and Zach Lenderman with the Texas Highway Patrol. Davidson was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. There were no other injuries. McNeil was cited for failure to yield. Davidson was cited for driving with an invalid license. McNeil's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. Davidson's vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.

83 year old Cecil McNeil was driving this 2017 Buick Envision. McNeil attempted a left turn onto Gettysburg but failed to yield to Davidson.
Accident Investigator, Trooper Nick Hatton (right) was assisted by Trooper Zach Lenderman.
This dog was a passenger in Davidson's vehicle and sustained a minor face cut, but was otherwise okay.
McNeil's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing.
