Emergency personnel surround 18 year old Tyetierra Thompson, of Lufkin, and her boyfriend.

Driver Rolls Vehicle Into Morgan Creek, GOODRICH, May 3, 2020 - At approximately 3 pm on May 2, 2020, an orange 2008 Dodge Avenger, driven by Tyetierra Thompson, 18, of Lufkin, was north-bound on US-59 in the vicinity of Goodrich. Thompson allegedly fell asleep at the wheel and left the pavement to the left, struck the end of the guardrail at Morgan creek, continued left, and rolled her vehicle at least 50 yards down an embankment, over large rocks and into Morgan Creek. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Holiday Lakes Volunteer Fire Department and Troopers John Allen and Corporal Ramey Bass with the Texas Highway Patrol. Witnesses to the accident went down the embankment to the vehicle and helped Thompson and her boyfriend from the car and back up to the median. Thompson was transported by ambulance to CHI Lufkin. Her boyfriend was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital (both with undisclosed injuries). Thompson was cited for no driver's license. Her vehicle was recovered by LakeView Towing and will be stored in Livingston.

Thompson allegedly fell asleep at the wheel and left the pavement to the left, struck the guardrail over Morgan Creek, and rolled her vehicle down an embankment made of large rocks, and into Morgan Creek.
Thompson was screaming in pain with seemingly every movement.
