18 Wheeler Rear Ends School Bus, MOSCOW, April 29, 2019 - At approximately 7 am on April 29, 2019, a Corrigan-Camden School Bus was rear ended by an 18 wheeler. The bus, driven by Yolanda Beal, 53, of Corrigan, was in the right lane on the south-bound side of US-59 in Moscow when the accident occurred. According to the driver of the 18 wheeler, Yong-Kwan Kim, 56, of Ontario, Canada, he reached to the floor to retrieve something and when he looked back up, there was the bus. The impact appeared to have totaled the rig while the school bus sustained large rear end damage. Four kids were transported by Allegiance Ambulance Service to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital while two kids were transported by their parents to CHI Livingston. Trooper John Allen with the Texas Highway Patrol investigated the accident and was assisted by Trooper Colton McQuilkin and Sergeant Sam Lattner. Additionally, Deputy Byron Dunaway and Constable Ray Myers assisted at the scene. Kim was cited for failure to control speed. His rig was recovered by All Star Recovery Service out of Livingston.
