44 year old Ladene Talbott, of Onalaska, rolled this 2005 Honda Pilot when she attempted a pass in a no passing lane on US-190 West near Forest Hills Loop.

Passing in a No Passing Lane, FOREST HILLS LOOP, April 23, 2020 - At approximately 10:20 am on April 23, 2020, a silver 2005 Honda Pilot, driven by Ladene Talbott, 44, of Onalaska, was west-bound on US-190 West in the vicinity of Forest Hills Loop. Traffic was backed up due to congestion regarding yesterday's Onalaska Tornado. Talbott decided to pass the vehicle in front of her in a no passing section of the road. To make matters worse, where she was passing included the crest of a hill (a bit of a blind spot regarding oncoming traffic). As Talbott came over the gentle hill on 190 she suddenly found herself about to have a head on collision with an east-bound vehicle. Talbott cut right and slammed into a trailer that was being pulled by a 2020 Dodge Ram pickup. The trailer was hauling a large tractor. The collision caused Talbott's vehicle to turn over and slide to the east-bound shoulder where it came to rest. Sergeant Jason Paske with the Polk County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the scene along with Allegiance Ambulance Service and Troopers John Allen and Corporal Ramey Bass with the Texas Highway Patrol. Talbott was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries (There were no other injuries). Talbott was cited for the illegal pass. Her vehicle was recovered by George White & Sons Wrecker Service.

Special thank you: Ken with Ken's Towing

Talbott slammed into the back of this trailer (and left her passenger's side door on the trailer).
