Alcohol Suspected in Vehicle Roll over Accident Off of 350 South, LIVINGSTON, April 20, 2008 - A black 2002 Ford F-150 XLT driven by Merino Angel Candido, 31, of Livingston was involved in a single vehicle accident on Pridgen Road off of 350 South. Shortly before 5 pm on April 20, 2008, Candido was east bound on Pridgen road when he lost control of his vehicle and the truck rolled and went off Pridgen Road to the right and landed upright with the front end of the truck nosing into the weeds. DPS Troopers David Morris and Donny Akers were dispatched to the scene. An Americare ambulance transported Candido to Livingston Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries. Both the driver's side and the passenger's side airbags of the truck deployed. The exact cause of the accident is under investigation, however, alcohol is suspected based on evidence found at the scene. A rollback wrecker from Harwood Wrecker Service pulled the truck from the weeds and then towed the truck away. Traffic was never blocked. According to Trooper Morris, Candido did have insurance.
