3 Vehicle Accident, 2 Hospitalized, ONALASKA, April 19, 2017 - At approximately 4:15 pm on April 19, 2017, a red 1991 Chevy Pickup, driven by David William Lay, 17, of Montgomery, was east-bound on US-190 West (10289 block next to A Action Realty). Traffic was slow due to road construction. Lay's vehicle was slammed from behind by a gray 2016 Nissan Versa, driven by Angelina Marie Childers, 33, of Onalaska. The impact pushed Lay's vehicle into a vehicle in front of him (2011 Dodge Avenger, driven by Jaclyn Nicole Bibbee, 32, of Point Blank). Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop and Onalaska Volunteer Fire Departments, Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Onalaska Police Department and Troopers Chris Cain and Nick Hatton with the Texas Highway Patrol. Bibbee, Childers, and Lay's passenger (his mom) were transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Traffic on the east-bound side of 190 was blocked during investigation and cleanup. Childers was cited for failure to control speed. All three vehicles were recovered by George White & Sons Wrecker Service and will be stored in Onalaska.

Lay's vehicle was knocked into this 2011 Dodge Avenger, driven by Jaclyn Nicole Bibbee, 32, of Point Blank.

Lay's passenger (his mom) sustained undisclosed injuries and was hospitalized.
All three vehicles were recovered by George White & Sons Wrecker Service.
