34 year old Morgan Marguerite Dorman, of Zavalla, was apparently distracted when she crashed her 2006 BMW in Moscow.
Distracted Driver Crashes BMW, MOSCOW, April 17, 2024 - At approximately 8:50 am on April 17, 2024, a gray 2006 BMW Z4 was south-bound on US-59. The driver was allegedly distracted when she left the pavement to the right and struck a rusty pole at 59 and FM-350. Constable Ray Myers was in the vicinity and radioed to dispatch about the crash. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputy Michael McDuffy with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Corporal Ramey Bass with the Texas Highway Patrol. The driver, Morgan Marguerite Dorman, 34, of Zavalla, only sustained bumps and minor cuts and was treated at the scene by EMS Personnel. Unfortunately for Dorman, in addition to crashing her car, she also had an outstanding warrant and was cuffed and hauled in to Polk County Jail by Corporal Bass. Dorman's vehicle was recovered by Clifton Chevrolet out of Corrigan.

Dorman's BMW struck this rusty pole. The impact caused Dorman's vehicle to turn over onto its driver's side.
Dorman had an outstanding warrant and was placed under arrest by the Texas Highway Patrol.
Dorman's vehicle was recovered by Clifton Chevrolet out of Corrigan.
