Distracted by Cell Phone, Young Driver Rolls Truck, BIG SANDY, April 15, 2011 - At approximately 4:35 pm on April 15, 2011, a white 2004 Ford F-150, driven by Cory Austin Lilley, 20, of Livingston, was west-bound on FM-942 near FM-2500. According to Lilley, as he entered a curve, he was distracted by his cell phone. Lilley's truck left the road to the right, rolled up an embankment, struck a tree and rolled over. The truck came to rest upside down facing west. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with DPS Trooper Ramey Bass. Cory Lilley was able to crawl from the wreckage, shaken up, but physically okay. He was examined by EMS Personnel. One lane of traffic was blocked during investigation and cleanup. Lilley did have insurance. According to Trooper Bass, no citations have yet been issued as the accident remains under investigation. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Lilley's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. The scene was cleared in less than an hour.
