Driver Crashes Into Tree, Alcohol Suspected, WEST TEMPE, April 14, 2024 - At approximately 6:18 pm on April 14, 2024, a white 2007 Kia Rio was east-bound on Yarborough Loop. The driver veered to the left off of the unpaved road and slammed into a tree at 559 Yarborough Loop. According to witnesses who approached the scene, the driver, Justin Mock, 32, of Livingston, was breathing, but not responding. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, and Trooper Nick Hatton with the Texas Highway Patrol. Mock was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. There was a heavy smell of alcohol coming from Mock's person and from his vehicle. Mock is possibly facing the charge of driving while intoxicated. His vehicle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.
