Accident at 190 and 2457 Sends Two Livingston Women to Hospital, LIVINGSTON, April 14, 2008 - At approximately 11 am on April 14, 2008, an accident occurred on 190 and 2457 by the corner Shell Station. A dark gray 2004 GMC Yukon driven by Carolyn Pickel, 67, of Livingston was east bound on 190 when a white Chevy Blazer driven by Jessica Adams, 27, of Livingston pulled out in front of Pickel from 2457 and failed to yield right-of-way. The Yukon slammed broad side into the Blazer. The Blazer remained in the road and the Yukon came to a stop to the right side of 190. Both drivers were transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital via Americare Ambulance Service. One lane of 190 East was blocked while two sheriff's deputies directed traffic and DPS Troopers Sam Lattner and Chris Stanbery investigated the scene of the accident. Both drivers had insurance. There was a wrecker from Harwood Wrecker Service and a rollback Wrecker from LakeView Towing Service. Traffic was fully flowing again by about 11:45 am. At time of press, the status of either of the drivers has not yet been revealed Polk County Today.com.
