42 year old Rodney Mitchell Randolph's 1997 Ford F-150 rolled and came to rest at the woodline off FM-2457 (just west of Hoyt Eastepp Road).
Driver Rolls Pickup, Alcohol Suspected, BLANCHARD, April 14, 2014 - At approximately 2:30 am on April 14, 2014, a red 1997 Ford F-150 driven by Rodney Mitchell Randolph, 43, of Shepherd, was west-bound on FM-2457.  Randolph swerved left through the east-bound lanes of traffic and left the pavement to the left.  Randolph's pickup rolled and came to rest upright facing the woodline.  According to witnesses, they saw Randolph leave the parking lot of Buster McNutty's and drive west-bound in the east-bound lanes of traffic to FM-2457 where he turned.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department and Deputies Terry Valka and Cody Hardy (both with the Polk County Sheriff's Office) and Trooper Darwon Evans with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Randolph was loaded onto an ambulance and transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.  Randolph is facing citations for driving while intoxicated and open container of beer while driving.  His vehicle was recovered by LakeView Towing and will be stored in Livingston.
