Brisheida Roman's 2002 Jeep Cherokee rolled and came to rest in the median after striking another car that failed to yield.
1 Hospitalized in Rollover Accident, LIVINGSTON, April 10, 2015 - At approximately 2:30 pm on April 10, 2015 a green 1999 Nissan Altima driven by Mary Dunbar, 85, of Onalaska, was in the parking lot at South Point at the south end of Pan American Drive. Dunbar attempted to pull across the south-bound side of Pan American but failed to yield to an oncoming gray 2002 Jeep Cherokee driven by Brisheida Roman, 21, of Livingston. Roman's vehicle impacted the side of Dunbar's vehicle causing Roman's vehicle to leave the pavement to the left and roll coming to rest on its passenger's side in the median between the north and south-bound lanes of Pan American Drive. Dunbar's vehicle came to rest on the shoulder of the south-bound side. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department and Officers Brandon Brewer, Kaleb Barker, Lieutenant Matt Parrish, and Chief Dennis Clifton (all with Livingston PD). Brisheida Roman was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Traffic on the south-bound side of Pan American was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. The accident remains under investigation. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered both vehicles and they will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston.
Mary Dunbar, of Onalaska, failed to yield causing her own vehicle to get broadsided by Roman's south-bound Jeep.
Roman was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Officer Brandon Brewer is the accident investigator.
Both vehicles were recovered by Ken's Towing.
