32 year old Jeremy Proctor's 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 struck this steel utility pole while in a full roll.
Alleged Intoxicated Driver Rolls Truck Multiple Times, Flown to Houston, LIVINGSTON, April 8, 2012 - Shortly before 3 am on April 8, 2012, a red 2006 Dodge 2500 driven by Jeremy Proctor, 32, of Moscow, was north-bound on FM-350 North near Horace Bonds Road. Proctor apparently entered a curve too fast and left the road to the right. Proctor's vehicle rolled multiple times and struck a metal utility pole nearly knocking the pole down. Proctor's vehicle came to rest upside down. Proctor was ejected during the rollover and landed around 40 yards north of his truck in a field. Americare Ambulance was dispatched to the scene along with Sergeant Christian Schanmier with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Kevin Burman with the Texas Highway Patrol. Schanmier and Burman tended to Proctor until EMS Personnel from Americare arrived. Proctor was treated at the scene and loaded onto an ambulance, then transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital where a medical helicopter landed and flew him to Hermann Hospital in Houston with major injuries. Proctor is suspected of being intoxicated when the accident occurred and said that he came from Buster McNutty's. Traffic was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. A utility truck from Sam Houston Electric Cooperative arrived to assess damage to the utility pole. A rollback wrecker from Fawbush Body Shop recovered Proctor's vehicle and it will be stored in Goodrich. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Kevin Burman.
Proctor's pickup came to rest upside down. Proctor was ejected and found nearly 50 yards away from his vehicle in a field.
Trooper Kevin Burman assisted EMS personnel from Americare.
Proctor was loaded into an ambulance and transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital where a helicopter picked him up and flew him to Hermann Hospital in Houston.
Sergeant Christian Schanmier assisted Trooper Burman.
A wrecker turned the pickup upright.
A crew from SHECO arrived to work on the damaged utility pole.
