Name Released of Driver in Motorcycle Wreck Near Onalaska, LIVINGSTON, April 10, 2017 - The driver's name involved in a fatal motorcycle accident (on Friday, April 7,) name has been released. The driver was identified as 42-year-old Scottie Risden from Moscow, TX. Risden was transported to a Memorial Hermann Hospital and listed in critical condition. The passenger riding with Risden was identified as 54-year-old Joyce Hunt from Corrigan, TX. Hunt was transported to Conroe Regional Medical Center for treatment. Hunt succumbed to her injuries on April 9, at 2:40 p.m. Neither Risden nor Hunt were reported as wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Woman Succumbs to Injuries from Motorcycle Accident, CONROE, April 9, 2017 - The woman who was in a motorcycle accident near Onalaska on Friday night (April 7) has passed away from the injuries that she sustained from the accident. Joyce Elaine Hunt, 54, of Corrigan, has passed away at Conroe Regional Hospital where she was in critical condition since Friday night's accident. Hunt was the passenger on a Harley Davidson motorcycle when the bike struck a deer on FM-350 North near FM-3152. The driver of the motorcycle (name still being withheld) remains in critical condition at Hermann Hospital in Houston.

Couple in Critical Condition After Their Motorcycle Strikes Deer, ONALASKA, April 8, 2017 - At approximately 8:40 pm on April 7, 2017, a Harley Davidson motorcycle occupied by a man and a woman (names not yet released) was south-bound on FM-350 North a short distance from FM-3152. The motorcycle struck a deer causing the motorcycle to crash and ejecting both occupants. Neither were wearing a helmet. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Onalaska Volunteer Fire Department, Sergeant David Ramsey and Corporal Adam Norris with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Troopers Zach Lenderman and Chris Cain with the Texas Highway Patrol. Both victims were transported to a nearby landing zone set up on FM-350 where a medical helicopter landed and transported both from the scene. Both occupants were in critical condition. All traffic on 350 was blocked during investigation and cleanup. A rollback wrecker from George White & Sons Wrecker Service recovered the motorcycle and it will be stored in Onalaska. The accident remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol.
