Rollover Accident, Driver Possible DUI, CORRIGAN, April 6, 2010 - At approximately 8:30 am on April 6, 2010 a red 1997 Nissan pickup driven by Matthew Argyle, 30, of Jasper, was west bound on FM-287 about 1 mile west of downtown Corrigan when his vehicle left the road to the right, struck a tree, and rolled. The truck came to rest on the driver's side. Argyle was trapped in his vehicle as emergency personnel freed him and carefully removed him from his truck. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with DPS Troopers Ramey Bass and Kevin Burman and Corrigan Police Officer James McKenzie. Argyle was loaded onto an ambulance and transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital undisclosed injuries. According to Officer McKenzie, Argyle will receive citations for no insurance, no driver's license, and possibly driving under the influence of drugs (pending toxicology report). A rollback wrecker from James Riley Wrecker Service recovered Argyle's vehicle where it will be stored in Corrigan. The scene was cleared by 9:18 am.
