Reckless Driver Plows Through Yard, Goes Airborne, Hits Tree, LIVINGSTON, April 1, 2009 - Shortly before 9 pm on March 31, 2009 a green late model Ford Ranger driven by Waylon Charles Wilson of Livingston was west-bound on Old Israel Road. As Wilson came to the intersection North Houston, his truck didn't stop and he proceeded across the road and into the front yard of a house at 1807 North Houston. The truck plowed through the yard of Larry "The Sheetrock King" Hultman's yard, hit a compost pile and went airborne. While airborne, Wilson's truck then struck a pine tree and it came to rest upright in the woodline beside Hultman's house. Livingston Police Officers Darrell Newman, Kevin Ward, and Sergeant Ronnie Bogany were dispatched to the scene. Wilson was placed under arrest, and pending toxicology reports, could be charged with driving while intoxicated. Wilson's vehicle was towed by a rollback wrecker from Harrison's Body Shop and it will be stored at Harrison's in downtown Livingston. The scene was cleared by around 10 pm.
