58 year old Robert Barajas, of Houston, rolled this 2002 Toyota 4 Runner just south of Hall and Mack Road.
Driver Rolls Vehicle, Alcohol Suspected, MOSCOW, March 23, 2019 - At approximately 4:30 am on March 23, 2019, a silver 2002 Toyota 4 Runner, driven by Robert Barajas, 58, of Houston, was north-bound on US-59. According to Barajas, they were on their way to Houston. Barajas's vehicle left the pavement to the right and rolled just south of Hall and Mack Road. His vehicle came to rest upright. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Sergeant Adam Norris with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Kevin Burman with the Texas Highway Patrol. Barajas was transported by ambulance to Corrigan Football Field (and was assisted by Corrigan Volunteer Fire Department) where a medical helicopter landed and transported him to Conroe Regional Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Barajas's female passenger was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Alcohol is suspected as being a contributing factor. Pending a toxicology report, Barajas could be facing driving while intoxicated or worse. Barajas's vehicle was recovered by Clifton Chevrolet out of Corrigan.
