2 Vehicle Accident on 190 and 3126, LIVINGSTON, March 15, 2012 - At approximately 7:43 am on March 15, 2012, a blue 2012 Honda Civic driven by Roy Gustafson, 52, of Livingston, was sitting at the intersection of FM-3126 and US-190 West waiting to make a right turn onto 190.  As Gustafson was sitting in his car waiting, an east-bound silver 2007 Toyota Camry driven by Ethel Carver, 57, of Livingston, veered to the right and slammed into the driver's front fender of Gustafson's vehicle.  Both vehicles sustained heavy front end damage.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, Sergeant Jason Paske of the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper David Flowers with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Ethel Carver was treated at the scene and transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed but non-life-threatening injuries.  Traffic was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup.  According to Trooper Flowers, not citations have been issued at this time as the accident is under investigation.  Both vehicles were recovered by George White & Sons Wrecker Service and will be stored in Onalaska.  The scene was cleared shortly after 9 am.
