Kenneth Ray Cook rolled this 2011 Arctic Cat 4 Wheeler on Walding Road and was ejected.
Driver Flown to Houston After 4 Wheeler Accident, SPRING CREEK, March 12, 2013 - Just minutes after 4 pm on March 12, 2013, a green Arctic Cat 4 wheeler being driven by Kenneth Ray Cook, 29, of Livingston, was south-bound on Walding Road when he lost control of his 4 wheeler and rolled it. Cook was ejected. Americare Amblance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Corporal Terri Mayor of the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Troopers Chris Cain and Sergeant Nita Bowen with the Texas Higway Patrol. Cook sustained serious injuries when he struck the pavement. A PHi Air Medical helicopter was summoned and Cook was flown to Hermann Hospital in Houston. At time of press, the extent of Cook's injuries are not known to PolkCountyToday.com. Cook's 4 wheeler was recovered by a friend.
Corporal Terri Mayer with the Sheriff's Office assisted EMS personnel with Cook. Cook was ejected and landed on the pavement of Walding Road.
Trooper Chris Cain with the Texas Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
Cook was loaded onto a helicopter and flowwn to Houston.
The excitement attracted the attention of neighborhood dogs.
