29 year old Jessica Brickley, of Campti, Louisiana, hydroplaned and rolled her Dodge Durango about 2 miles north of Seven Oaks.
Unsafe Speed on Wet Roads, Driver Hydroplanes and Rolls, SEVEN OAKS, March 11, 2017 - At approximately 10:30 pm on March 10, 2017, a white Dodge Durango, driven by Jessica Brickley, 29, of Campti, Louisiana, was north-bound on US-59 a couple of miles north of Seven Oaks when her vehicle began to hydroplane. Brickley lost control of her vehicle as it slid into the center median and rolled multiple times. One of her three passengers was ejected. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Troopers Zach Lenderman and Sean Chandler with the Texas Highway Patrol. Brickley and her three passengers were transported by ambulance to CHI Lufkin Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Traffic on 59 was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. Brickley will be cited for unsafe speed. A rollback wrecker from Clifton Chevrolet out of Corrigan recovered Brickley's vehicle.
