Traveling Spring Breakers Roll Vehicle North of Livingston, 3 Hospitalized, OAKDALE LOOP, March 10, 2013 - At around 4:35 pm on March 10, 2013, a maroon 2004 Honda CRV driven by Jacqueline Bahr, 19, of Houston, was north-bound on US-59 North about 5 miles north of Livingston. Bahr's vehicle appears to have blown a tire and left the road to the left, slid throgh the grassy median and rolled near Oakdale Loop. Bahr's vehicle came to rest upside down in mud and grass facing south. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Chris Cain with the Texas Highway Patrol. Bahr and her two passengers were pulled from the vehicle and treated at the scene by EMS personnel. All three were transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Bahr and her friends were reportedly on their way to Louisiana for spring break. Traffic was not blocked during investigation and cleanup. According to Trooper Chris Cain, Jacqueline Bahr was cited for no insurance and no driver's license. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered Bahr's vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. The scene was cleared in less than an hour.
All three vehicle occupants were transported by ambulance to Livingston Memorial Hospital.
This blown passenger's side rear tire may be the cause of the sudden loss of control.
Bahr's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing.
The accident is being investigated by Trooper Chris Cain.
