This 2009 Pontiac G6 slid off an unpaved road near US-146.
Two Teen Girls Hospitalized in Car Accident, LIVINGSTON, March 10, 2011 - Shortly before 6 pm on March 10, 2011, a white 2009 Pontiac G6 driven by a 16 year old Livingston High School Student was north-bound on Plantation Road (a short distance from US-146). According to the young girl, a south-bound black truck pulled directly in front of her. To avoid a collision, she cut her wheels right and left the road taking out a gate and striking a utility pole on Plantation and Taras Path. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Sergeant Christian Schanmier of the Polk County Sheriff's Office and DPS Trooper Ramey Bass. The driver and her passenger were transported to Livingston Memorial Hospital by Ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries (a second passenger was physically okay). The black truck was never found. The driver had insurance and no citations were issued. A rollback wrecker from Ken's Towing recovered the vehicle and it will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. The scene was cleared by 7:15 pm.
