Driver Attempts U-Turn, Fails to Yield, BLANCHARD, March 7, 2017 - Shortly before 7 pm on March 7, 2017, a blue 2010 Ford Escape, driven by Teresa Eye, 56, of Livingston, was south-bound on FM-2457 (a short distance south of Family Dollar). Eye pulled onto the shoulder, then attempted to execute a U-Turn, but failed to yield to a south-bound Gray 2015 Charger, driven by Kristi Gann, 38, of Livingston. The two vehicles had a glancing head-on collision. Eye's vehicle came to rest on the shoulder of the south-bound side of 2457, while Gann's vehicle came to rest in the middle of the pavement. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, Deputy Teddy "Precious" Sims and Corporal Ramey Bass and Sean Chandler with the Texas Highway Patrol. Both Eye and Gann were transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Traffic on 2457 was blocked during investigation and cleanup. Teresa Eye was cited for turning when unsafe. Gann's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. Eye's vehicle was recovered by LakeView Towing and will be stored in Livingston.

Eye failed to yield to this 2015 Dodge Charger, driven by 38 year old Kristi Gann of Livingston.
Kristin Gann is checked by EMS personnel and then loaded into an ambulance and transported to CHI Livisnton Memorial Hospital.
Corporal Ramey Bass (right) is the primary investigator and was joined by Trooper Sean Chandler.
Gann's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing.
Houdini assisted with towing duties.
