61 year old Javier Trejo, of Livingston, if facing a felony DWI charge after he wrecked his 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix off US-190 West.
Driver Charged With Felony DWI, LIVINGSTON, March 8, 2016 - At approximately 7:10 pm on March 7, 2016, a gray 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by Javier Trejo, 61, of Livingston, was east-bound on US-190 West.  According to witnesses, Trejo's driving was erratic and he allegedly nearly forced another vehicle off the road.  Trejo eventually left the pavement to the right in the 3800 block of 190 W. and slammed into a wooden fence.  Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Corporal Javier Segura with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Troopers Zach Lenderman and Shawn Droddy with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Trejo was treated at the scene and transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.  Trejo did blow into a portable breathalyzer device that indicated that he was above the legal limit for alcohol.  Trejo is being charged with felony driving while intoxicated (felony due to this will be his third or more if convicted).  His vehicle was recovered by LakeView Towing and will be stored in Livingston.

Special thank you:  Ken with Ken's Towing

Troopers Shawn Droddy (left) and Zach Lenderman investigated the accident.
