MT Rose, FM-1988 South, Saturday morning, 9:30 am, (03/04/23)

Motorcycle Accident, Driver Flown, MT ROSE, March 4, 2023 - At approximately 9:20 am on March 4, 2023, a red Harley Davidson motorcycle that was with a group of other motorcycles was north-bound on FM-1988 South. The driver veered off the pavement to the right, lost control, and crashed his motorcycle. The driver, Hector Flores, 60, of Houston, was ejected. Flores was wearing a helmet. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, and Trooper Linley Clark with the Texas Highway Patrol. Flores sustained serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to a helicopter pad in Livingston and was flown to Kingwood Hospital. Traffic on 1988 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. Flores' motorcycle was drivable and was driven from the scene.
