Blowout Accident Hospitalizes Livingston Man and Woman, CORRIGAN, March 4, 2010 - At approximately 4:25 pm on March 4, 2010 a red 1998 Ford Explorer driven by Tishori Dejuan Perkins, 18, of Livingston was south bound on US-59 just north of Piney Creek when his passenger's side rear tire blew out. Perkins veered left, then over corrected to the right and left the road to the right. Perkins' vehicle rolled multiple times and came to rest on the driver's side facing north. Americare Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Corrigan Volunteer Fire Department, multiple units from the Corrigan Police Department, Deputy Mark Dubose, and DPS Troopers Sam Lattner and Darwon Evans. Both Perkins and his 18 year old passenger, Briana Barlow, 18, of Livingston were transported to Lufkin Memorial Hospital with incapacitating injuries. Perkins had insurance. Perkins' vehicle was recovered by Riley Wrecker Service and it will be stored at Riley's in Corrigan. The scene was cleared by 6 pm.
