Driver Hospitalized After Motorcycle Crash, GOODRICH, March 1, 2019 - At approximately 6 pm on March 1, 2018, a black Yamaha motorcycle, driven by Matthew Clay, 34, of Goodrich, was east-bound in the 1051 block of FM-2665 (about a mile from US-59).  Clay appeared to have entered a curve too fast.  Clay's motorcycle left the pavement to the right and rolled.  Clay was ejected.  Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene, along with Troopers Colton McQuilkin, Kevin Burman and Allen Stanton with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Clay was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.  His motorcycle was recovered by a friend.  No citations have been issued.

34 year olf Matthew Clay, of Goodrich, was driving this 2001 Yamaha east-bound on FM-2665 (about a mile from US-59) and crashed in the 1051 block.
Clay appeared to have severe back pain from the crash (Trooper Colton McQuilkin, standing, is the accident investigator).
Clay was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital.
