Pickups Collide, Go Into a Ditch, 2 Hospitalized, BLANCHARD, February 27, 2020 - Shortly before 10 am on February 27, 2020, a blue 1994 Chevy Pickup, driven by Theoist Henderson, 53, of Livingston, was north-bound on FM-2457 (near Chris Brent Road). Henderson's pickup suddenly collided with a maroon 1998 Chevy pickup driven by Ryan Ringo, 21, of Livingston. Ringo was south-bound and attempted a left turn into a parking lot, but failed to yield to Henderson. The pickups' front ends collided and both went into the drainage ditch on the north-bound side. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department, Deputy Terri Mayer with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Colton McQuilkin with the Texas Highway Patrol. Both Henderson and Ringo were transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Traffic on 2457 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. Ringo was cited for failure to yield while making left turn. Henderson's vehicle was recovered by Ken's Towing and will be stored at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston. Ringo's pickup was recovered by Harwood Wrecker Service and will be stored in Livingston.

The red Chevy was driven by 21 year old Ryan Ringo, of Livingston. The blue Chevy was driven 53 year old Theoist Henderson of Livinston. Henderson was north-bound, and Ringo was south-bound. Ringo attempted a left turn and failed to yield to Henderson.
Both Ringo (pictured) and Henderson were transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital.
