FM-3277 at Sally Drive on Friday afternoon (02/26/21)
Medical Condition Possible Cause of Motorcycle Crash, SCENIC LOOP, February 26, 2021 - At approximately 3:20 pm on February 26, 2021, a black 2005 Yamaha motorcycle, driven by Leslie Albright, 71, of Scenic Loop, was east-bound on FM-3277.  Preliminarily, it is believed that a possible medical condition caused Albright to leave the pavement to the right and turn over his motorcycle in the grass at 3277 and Sally Drive.  According to witnesses, Albright stood up, walked toward 3277, then went back down into the grass.  Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department and Troopers Colton McQuilkin, Ashlee White, and Corporal Ramey Bass with the Texas Highway Patrol.  EMS personnel applied chest compressions, loaded Albright into an ambulance and rushed him to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital in critical condition.  Traffic on 3277 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup.  Albright's motorcycle was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.  This accident remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol.
