Troopers Chris Cain and Nick Hatton at the scne at 146 andFM-2665
18 Wheeler Blows Stop Sign, Crashes, GOODRICH, February 26, 2020 - At approximately 7:25 pm on February 26, 2020, an 18 wheeler logging truck, driven by Daniel Pruett Cain, 38, of Livingston, was east-bound on FM-2665.  As Cain was approaching US-146 he allegedly blew the stop sign and continued onto 146 and attempted a right turn at the T.  Cain's load of logs quickly shifted and turned over on the east side of 146 in the grass.  Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Troopers Chris Cain and Nick Hatton with the Texas Highway Patrol.  Cain was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries.  Traffic on 146 was not blocked during investigation and cleanup.  This accident remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol.  A heavy duty wrecker from East Tex Towing was summoned to clean up the mess.
