Medical Condition Suspected as Possible Cause in Motorcycle Accident, LIVINGSTON, February 26, 2017 - Shortly before 4 pm on February 26, 2017, a black Harley Davidson Motorcycle, driven by Joe Michael Davidson, 68, of Mont Belvieu, was east-bound on US-190 West (near Walmart). Davidson's motorcycle suddenly veered left and glanced off the side of a maroon east-bound 1998 Toyota Corolla, driven by Leanne Michelle Molina, 21, of Livingston. Davidson's motorcycle turned over at the light (next to the west-end of Walmart parking lot). Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, Deputy Josh Sanders with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Trooper Zach Lenderman with the Texas Highway Patrol, and Officers Scott Paske and Caleb Barker with the Livingston Police Department. Davidson was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Davidson is reportedly diabetic. Diabetic complications is suspected of being a contributing factor in why Davidson suddenly veered into a car. The accident remains under investigation by the Livingston Police Department.
